How The WOS Series Works
Advanced Oil Water Separation Process
• Untreated wash water enters the system through the included 1.0 HP surface mount sump pump.
• Corona discharge ozone technology instantly attacks odor causing bacteria and contaminants.
• Ozone treatment helps break apart emulsified oils for easier separation.
• Water flows through a three stage stainless steel separator tank.
• Multiple internal baffles slow water velocity to improve solids settling.
• Hundreds of square feet of oil attracting coalescing media capture free and emulsified hydrocarbons.
• Oil rises to the surface and is collected by the integrated oil skimmer system.
• Recovered oil is directed into an oil decanter for easy disposal.
• Fine silt and suspended solids settle into the sloped solids trap for removal.
• Treated water exits through a gravity fed discharge port for sanitary sewer discharge.
